Karup Futon Mattress

What is a futon mattress?

A Karup Design mattress is made from 100% cotton and is slightly firmer than a normal mattress. A futon mattress supports the body and adapts to all body shapes. The cotton in the mattress absorbs the moisture produced during the night, to evaporate from the mattress during the day. If you are looking for a futon mattress, a Karup Design mattress is recommended. The hallmark of Karup furniture is precisely their futon mattresses.

Japanese meets Danish

Karup Design is a Danish brand that has influences from Japan. A traditional Japanese futon fits into small spaces during the day and is brought out for sleeping in the evening. One of the advantages of a Karup Design mattress is that it is foldable and suitable for those who live in a smaller space, just like the minimalist way of living in Japan. Combine the mattress with a stylish Karup Design bed frame, for example from the Senza series, to create a complete and harmonious sleeping space.

How to best care for your futon mattress

Compared to other mattresses, a Karup Design futon mattress needs a little extra care. To keep the mattress looking good, we recommend using mattress protectors and sheets. If you get a stain, wipe it with a dry cloth, the mattress cannot withstand water. To allow the material to breathe, it is recommended to turn the mattress every now and then. Good luck and enjoy your lovely futon mattress from Karup Design - preferably together with a bed frame from the Senza series.
