PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (EU – NL, BE, ES, FR)

The following purchase terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) apply to the sale of beds, furniture, interior items and other movable property (hereinafter referred to as the “Products”) by Sleepo AB, 556857-0146 (“Sleepo”). These Terms apply unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing between the respective customer (“Customer”) and Sleepo. When selling to consumers, Sleepo complies with the mandatory provisions of applicable EU and national law.

Order

Orders may be placed via www.sleepo.eu or by telephone at +46 8 20 87 70. A purchase agreement is concluded only once Sleepo has issued an order confirmation by email.

Sleepo does not enter into agreements with minors (under 18 years) without the consent of a legal guardian.

All images are for illustrative purposes only, and Sleepo cannot guarantee that they represent the exact appearance or characteristics of the Product. Sleepo reserves the right to correct errors in product information and to update product descriptions and prices without prior notice.

To complete a purchase on Sleepo’s website, you must accept these Terms. By doing so, you agree to comply fully with the Terms and acknowledge that you have been informed about the processing of personal data and the use of cookies in accordance with Sleepo’s Privacy Policy.

Sleepo reserves the right to correct stock-availability errors after an order has been placed. If a Product is no longer available despite reasonable efforts, Sleepo is not obliged to provide the Product, even if the order has been confirmed.

For sofas, decorative cushions, curtains, towels and other textile goods, Sleepo recommends placing the order at the same time to avoid colour variations between different production batches. If you wish to reorder a textile purchased previously, you may send a photo to info@sleepo.eu and we will do our best to match the colour.

Prior to ordering furniture, please ensure that the item fits through doors, staircases and hallways. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that Products can be delivered in their entirety to the stated location in the home. If the Product cannot be delivered, the Customer will be charged 75 EUR for the unsuccessful delivery.

In order to keep delivery times as short as possible, orders that are in stock at the time of purchase cannot be cancelled.

Delivery

Deliveries are carried out in cooperation with DHL.

We offer free shipping on orders over 79 EUR* for smaller parcels delivered with DHL Paket. Carts valued at 79 EUR or below incur a shipping fee of 7 EUR.

Larger deliveries/products are delivered to your home for 29 EUR*.

*) We deliver only to the following EU countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and France. Deliveries are not available to areas requiring boat transport or other logistical exceptions.

Delivery time for in-stock items is 2–4 business days for small parcels and 3–7 business days for larger deliveries. For items not in stock, the delivery time is stated on the website.

For environmental and service reasons, we always aim to deliver your order in one single shipment. The item with the longest delivery time determines the total delivery time. However, deviations may occur, and items may, in some cases, be delivered separately if shipped from different warehouses.

Delivery procedures, communication and time windows may vary by country.

Beds, sofas and other larger Products are usually delivered with DHL. Once the shipment has reached DHL, you will be contacted with a delivery date and a time window. Deliveries typically take place on business days between 08:00–17:00.

Smaller parcels sent with DHL Paket will be notified via email or local DHL communication channels used in the destination country.

Please note that we cannot guarantee evening delivery or delivery within an exact time slot. The Customer must be available throughout the assigned delivery window.

Home Delivery Specification

“Home delivery” refers to delivery to the first accessible door or building entrance (curbside/threshold). Indoor carrying is not included unless otherwise stated.

Delivery Deviations

If you refuse or cancel an order after it has left our warehouse, Sleepo may charge the Customer 75 EUR for larger deliveries and 25 EUR for smaller parcels.

In the event of a failed delivery attempt—where a delivery time has been agreed but the Customer is not present—Sleepo may charge 49 EUR.

Address changes made after the order has left the warehouse:

• Within the same city: 25 EUR administrative fee
• To a different city (for home delivery): 99 EUR administrative/shipping fee

Valid identification must be presented at delivery or collection.

Upon Delivery: Inspect Your Order

Upon receiving the delivery, you must inspect the packaging for visible damage. Any visible damage must be noted on the driver’s delivery note before signing.

We kindly ask you to report transport damage within 3 days to allow efficient handling. This does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer law.

Both visible and concealed damage must be documented with photos (with and without packaging) and emailed to info@sleepo.eu.

For approved transport-damage claims, Sleepo will replace parts of the Product or the entire Product, depending on what is simplest and most economical. The damaged Product will not be collected; the Customer is responsible for disposal following instructions from customer service.

If you are not at home at the time of delivery, you forfeit the right to claim transport damage, as the delivery cannot be inspected.

Delivery Guarantee

In the event of a delay, Sleepo compensates with a maximum of 100 EUR of the value of the delayed item(s):

7–11 business days late: 2.5% of the product value 12–17 business days late: 5% of the product value
18+ business days late: 7.5% of the product value

This guarantee applies in addition to your statutory rights under EU consumer law.

The delivery guarantee does not apply to orders placed during 19/11–03/12-2025 due to peak seasonal volumes.

Returns and Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving or collecting the order.

The right of withdrawal and open purchase do not apply to business customers.

Return of Small Parcels

Use the return label included with your shipment. Return the parcel to a designated drop-off point, parcel locker or courier.

Return of Large Deliveries

Contact customer service (info@sleepo.eu) to receive a return label and instructions. These shipments are collected from your home and cannot be returned at drop-off points.

Cost of Returns

  • Small parcels: 7 EUR
  • Large shipments: 39 EUR

Refunds are issued within 14 days after the returned goods have arrived at our warehouse.

A receipt or proof of return must always be provided if requested.

Right of Withdrawal – Conditions

To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us with a clear statement by post or email.

If you choose to arrange the return on your own, the goods must be sent back within 14 days of notifying us. You bear the cost and risk of such return. We recommend using a trackable service.

Products must be returned unused and unassembled. For example, legs on beds, sofas, tables or chairs must not be opened or mounted.

If the Product is returned in a condition that exceeds what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning, Sleepo may deduct an amount for depreciation. This applies also to missing or damaged original packaging.

Stone Tables

Stone tables are shipped in customised and non-reusable protective crates. If returned, the Customer is responsible for arranging suitable packaging and transport. Any damage, improper packing or missing materials may result in depreciation deductions.

Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

Unless otherwise agreed, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised
  • Sealed goods unsuitable for return due to hygiene reasons once the seal is broken
  • Products purchased and collected from our physical showroom

Campaigns and Offers

Sleepo may, from time to time, offer promotions on the website providing more favourable conditions. These conditions apply only during the campaign period and for the specified Products. Sleepo reserves the right to withdraw campaigns at any time. After withdrawal, these Terms apply in full.

Complaints

In accordance with EU consumer regulations, you have a two-year right to make a complaint. Complaints must be reported immediately after the defect is discovered and within a reasonable time, typically within 2 months.

For visible defects upon delivery, the complaint must be made immediately and before signing the delivery note.

To process your complaint efficiently, we require:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Photos of the full Product and the defect

For approved complaints, Sleepo will replace parts or the entire Product. The damaged Product will not be collected; you are responsible for its disposal following instructions from customer service.

Warranty

Warranty information is provided in the individual product descriptions.

The warranty covers only original manufacturing defects confirmed by Sleepo.

Payment Methods

Sleepo offers secure and convenient payment options through our payment service providers Kustom and PayPal. All payments are processed in accordance with applicable EU legislation and the security standards of each provider.

PayPal

If you choose to pay via PayPal, the payment will be processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”).

To complete your payment, you must:

  1. Have a registered PayPal account
  2. Authenticate with your PayPal login credentials
  3. Confirm the payment instruction

The payment transaction is executed immediately after you place your order.
You will receive additional instructions during checkout.

Kustom (Card Payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna)

Sleepo uses Kustom as the checkout platform. Depending on your country of purchase, Kustom provides access to the following payment methods:

Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)

You will enter your card details securely during checkout. Your card will be charged immediately after your order is placed.
The transaction is encrypted and processed through Kustom’s integrated payment service provider.

Apple Pay & Google Pay

If you choose Apple Pay or Google Pay, you complete your payment by authenticating through your device’s security features (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode). The payment is processed instantly.
Additional country-specific instructions may apply during checkout.

Klarna

Depending on availability in your delivery country (the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain or France), Kustom also enables payment through Klarna Bank AB (publ.), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden (“Klarna”).

Payments with Klarna may require identity and/or credit checks performed directly by Klarna.

Klarna may offer the following payment options:

  • Pay Now — direct banking or instant payment
  • Pay Later — invoice payment due after dispatch
  • Pay in Instalments — monthly instalment plan

Specific conditions and instructions for each Klarna payment option will be displayed during checkout.

General Information

  • Your payment is processed when your item is dispatched.
  • If your order contains multiple items shipped from different warehouses, payment may be activated when the first item is shipped.
  • Personal data related to payment is handled directly by each provider (Kustom, PayPal, Klarna) in compliance with GDPR and their respective privacy policies.

Privacy Policy

Sleepo ensures that all personal data is processed in accordance with applicable EU legislation. By accepting these Terms, you consent to Sleepo storing necessary information to process your order, manage your purchase, facilitate future purchases, update you on your order status and send offers from Sleepo.eu or partner companies.

You may access, correct or request deletion of your stored data at any time. You may also withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications.

Price Guarantee (EU – NL, BE, ES, FR)

Sleepo offers a Price Guarantee within the EU markets in which we operate. If you purchase a Product from us and, within seven (7) days, find the same Product at a lower price on an online store operating in any of the following countries—the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain or France—and trading in EUR, we will refund the price difference.

The Product must be identical (same model, brand, size and specification). Only links are accepted as evidence (screenshots are not accepted).
Any additional fees charged by the competitor (shipping, customs, handling) must be included in the comparison.
The competitor’s delivery time must be equal to or faster than ours.

Disputes and Applicable Law

The European Commission provides a platform for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR). Sleepo is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before consumer arbitration bodies.
