Roots is a timeless sofa bed armchair from Karup Design. With Roots, you not only get a sofa but also a single bed with a manually adjustable backrest. Roots transforms quickly and easily, making it perfect for those with limited space and for guests.

Roots comes with a futon mattress. The mattress is 12 cm high and filled with recycled fibres, with a 4 cm thick foam core. The upholstery is made of a textile blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The frame is made of solid brown lacquered pine.

About FSC
The sofa bed armchair is FSC-certified, meaning it is made of wood from forests that meet the highest social and environmentally friendly standards. These forests are continuously inspected to ensure they continue to adhere to FSC's strict principles.

Care Instructions
Karup's blended fabric is made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. As most of this fabric is made of natural materials, be sure to use a sheet when sleeping on your product with blended fabric. Clean only with a dry cloth to avoid stains.
