The Åre armchair measures 97 cm in width and is delivered fully assembled, only the legs need to be attached. With its elegant and timeless design, Åre is a natural choice for the modern home. The combination of minimalist form and high seating comfort has made the series a real favourite. The robust wooden frame provides stability, while the sleek design contributes to a stylish and trendy look.
Design and comfort
The seat cushion, approximately 15 cm high, has a core of cold foam (35 kg) surrounded by a layer of down and shredded polyether. The cold foam provides support and long-lasting durability, while the down top adds a soft and inviting feel.
The back cushion, which is about 20 cm thick, is filled with down and shredded polyether in stitched channels – a construction that helps the cushion maintain its shape year after year.
To maintain the soft comfort, some care is required: seat and back cushions should be plumped regularly for best results.
The 20 cm sturdy wooden frame together with no-sag springs form a solid foundation that provides the armchair with long lifespan and stable comfort.
Upholstery
Åre is upholstered in a durable polyester fabric (100%). The material is both soft against the skin and resilient for daily use. The covers of the cushions are removable and can be dry cleaned. Please note that the dimensions of the cushions may vary by +/- 5%.
