Sit, unfold, Sleepo! Hippo, from Karup Design, is a futon armchair and a mattress in one where you can relax in multiple ways. Perfect for use in both living rooms and guest rooms, or why not give the children a really lovely armchair for their room? You simply fold the mattress and fasten it with Velcro straps to create a lovely armchair (see video below for a demonstration). To use as a mattress, you unfold the armchair again, creating a wonderfully comfortable and thick mattress - perfect for a nap or as an overnight bed for guests.

Made of 25% linen and 75% cotton with a quilted, stylish finish. Lovely thick mattress in polyester with a foam core that is 12 cm thick. Take your relaxation to the next level with the Hippo armchair!

Care instructions
Karup's linen fabric is a blend of 25% linen and 75% cotton. Linen is a natural material that requires special care. Linen does not tolerate water. If your linen-covered futon gets wet, stains may occur. Therefore, make sure not to clean with water. Use an uncoloured cloth to dry the area by patting the wet spot.
