Natural variation in the appearance of the stone
This product is made of natural stone with brushed and unlacquered surfaces to enhance the stone's natural structure and veining. The surface treatment provides an authentic feel of genuine natural material, and each product gets a unique expression.
Crack-like patterns may appear in the slab, but these are not actual cracks — they are natural veins in the material. They form as the material is layered and compressed over thousands to millions of years, and are part of the stone’s natural structure and unique appearance.
We cannot control where the veining occurs, but to ensure strength and durability, we have reinforced the underside of the slab for added stability.
Partial filling may occur
During production, the slab may be partially filled. This is a common part of the processing in the production of travertine products to create a smooth and user-friendly surface.
Grinding and processing
During manufacturing, the stone surface is ground to create a smooth and pleasant finish. Minor grinding marks may occur, which are a natural part of the process and contribute to the stone's rustic and lively character.
Colour variations and natural details
Marble and travertine are natural materials with varying colours, structures, and veining patterns, giving each stone block its unique appearance.
Streaks of intense colour, such as red from iron oxide, may appear in certain areas.
Calcite, crushed crystal structures, form from water veins where lime has solidified.
Sand pit, small natural cavities, form during the stone's formation and vary in size from millimetres to centimetres.
Unique character in each table
Large colour variations, veining, and surface differences are natural and contribute to the stone's individual charm. Each table is unique and has its own character.
Product weight and assembly
The table is made of travertine and has a total weight of approximately 100 kg. Some assembly is required:
An accompanying metal plate is screwed into the feet.
The top panel is then placed on the plate.
The feet can be assembled in the outermost or innermost holes depending on whether you prefer a tighter or wider distance between the legs.
Delivery and packaging
The table is delivered in sturdy packaging to protect the product during transport. For extra stability, the table is shipped in a wooden box. A screwdriver or crowbar may be needed to open the wooden box.
