Uzu Rug Taupe 200x300

The Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake has drawn inspiration for this handwoven rug from Kyoto's classic dry landscape gardens, known as "Karesansui". The raked patterns in the gravel resemble swirling water currents and reflect the beauty and tranquillity of nature. The rug is not a direct copy of the "Karesansui" style, but a modern interpretation that conveys the gardens' calming essence and is perfect as a luxurious rug for living rooms, bedrooms, or reading nooks.

The combination of straight lines and circular shapes reflects the unpredictability of nature and creates a harmonious feeling that adds a unique character to minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. The soft texture and carefully designed pattern make the rug a perfect choice for those seeking an elegant handwoven rug with Japanese inspiration and timeless design. The collection is available in several colours and sizes, making it easy to find a model that suits your interior style and the need for sustainable quality rugs for modern homes.
