Punja Plasma is a hand-knotted rug from Layered in a Punja kilim with a woven base and sections with a higher shaggy pile. Handmade in 100% New Zealand wool. The special manufacturing process for Punja rugs depends on natural weather conditions for completion - this results in a slower process that takes the environment into consideration. Due to the longer pile and natural material, the rug tends to shed, and after regular vacuuming, shedding decreases over time but will never completely stop. Made from traceable fibres.

Please note that as each rug is hand-woven individually, there may be variations in size and colour, making all Layered rugs unique.

Care Instructions

• Vacuum regularly without a brush in the direction of the pile.
• For a more thorough cleaning, professional dry cleaning is recommended.
• Gently dab stains with a mixture of lukewarm water and soap. Absorb excess liquid with a dry microfibre cloth.
• We recommend using rug pads for both anti-slip protection and to protect both the floor and the rug.
• Shedding may occur and is not a manufacturing defect.
• Rotate the rug regularly for even wear.
