This product is made of natural stone. The surfaces are brushed and unlacquered to highlight the veining and structure, enhancing the feeling of genuine natural stone.

Travertine has a lively expression as each stone block varies in colour, structure, and veining pattern. Streaks of intense colour, such as red from iron oxide, may occur in some areas while other surfaces are more homogeneous in their expression. Calcite and sand pits are two natural characteristics that show the authenticity of the travertine. Calcite looks like crushed crystals and originates from water veins in the stone where lime from the water has solidified. Sand pits are the air bubbles that form when the stone is formed and are expressed in small cavities in the form of millimetres to centimetres-sized pits.

Both large colour variations and surface variations are part of the stone's character. Each stone is unique, adding to the charm of these natural materials.
