Material and Surface
This product is made of natural stone, more specifically travertine. The surface is brushed and unlacquered to enhance the stone's natural veining, structure, and variation. This treatment gives a more vibrant and authentic impression that enhances the feeling of genuine natural stone.

Unique Character
Travertine is characterized by its lively expression where each stone block has its own unique colour, structure, and veining patterns. Natural colour variations in the stone are common, where traces of, for example, reddish-brown streaks may occur. These shades arise naturally through minerals such as iron oxide in the bedrock.

Natural Marks and Structure
Two characteristics that show the authenticity of travertine are calcite and sand pits:

• Calcite: Formed when calcite solidifies in water veins and appears as areas with crushed crystal structures.

• Sand Pits: Formed when air bubbles are trapped in the stone during the formation process and appear as small cavities, ranging from a few millimetres to centimetres in size.

Variation and Authenticity
Large colour variations and irregularities on the surface are a natural part of travertine's character. Each stone is unique in appearance, making no surface identical to another. It is precisely these variations that contribute to the stone's exclusive and natural feel.
