Care Instructions

• Vacuum the rug on both sides and the floor under the rug regularly. Never use the brush attachment when vacuuming and adjust the vacuum strength. Avoid vacuuming the rug's edge/bindings or fringes as they may get damaged. Rugs with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile.

• The rug has an unlined back that may be slippery on the floor. We recommend using rug underlay for grip and to protect the floor.

• Rugs with long pile need regular brushing to maintain the fibre's appearance. Use a wide-toothed comb.

• Wool rugs may pill, especially those with pile. This is normal and a characteristic of the fibre. Pilling may be most noticeable when the rug is new. However, there are no guarantees that pilling will decrease over time. Vacuum the rug regularly with a flat brush head to remove excess fibres from production. We also recommend shaking the rug before use to fluff up the pile and remove excess wool.

• Rotate the rug in the room regularly to ensure even wear.

• Always remove minor stains immediately. Blot wet stains with dry paper towels.
• For dry stains, gently scrape from the edges towards the centre. Then, use lukewarm water on an uncoloured cloth or sponge. Dampen the stain with a moist uncoloured cloth and mild soap or soap. Foam the solution with lukewarm water before applying. Do not rub the stain as it may make it harder to remove. Blot up the liquid and repeat until the stain is gone.
• Avoid using strong chemicals for at-home stain treatment. Tough stains should be handled by a professional as soon as possible after they occur to increase the chances of cleaning the fibre.

• Always take your rug to a reputable laundry for professional flat washing. Classic Collection rugs should not be machine or dry cleaned.

• All new rugs have a distinct odour that will dissipate over time. Ventilating or vacuuming the rug will help the odour disappear sooner.
