• Vacuum the carpet regularly and avoid using a brush.

• Shedding is a normal behaviour for this type of carpet, which usually decreases over time, although note that the carpet may always shed to some extent. Shedding carpets are not a manufacturing defect but characteristic of this type of production technique and material.
• Rotate the carpet in the room regularly to ensure even exposure and wear.
• Always remove minor stains promptly. Wet stains should be blotted with dry paper towels. Dry stains should be gently scraped off the fibre's pile, scraping from the edges towards the centre. Then, moisten a clean cloth or sponge with lukewarm water. Dampen the stain with a damp, clean cloth and mild soap or detergent. Lather the solution with lukewarm water before applying. Do not rub the stain as it may make it harder to remove. Blot up the liquid and repeat until the stain is gone.
• Avoid using strong chemicals for stain treatment at home.
• More stubborn stains should be treated by a professional as soon as possible after the stain occurs, as this increases the chances of effectively cleaning the fibre.
• Always take your carpet to a reputable laundry for professional flat washing. Classic Collection carpets should not be machine or dry cleaned.
• All new carpets have a distinct odour that will dissipate over time. Ventilating or vacuuming the carpet will help the odour disappear more quickly.
