Roots is a timeless sofa bed chair from Karup Design. With Roots, you not only get a chair but also a single bed with a manually adjustable backrest. Roots transforms quickly and easily, making it perfect for those with limited space and for guests.
Roots comes with a futon mattress. The mattress is 12 cm high and filled with recycled fibres, with a 4 cm thick foam core. Upholstered in a textile blend of 25% linen and 75% cotton.About FSC
The sofa bed chair is FSC-certified, meaning it is made from wood sourced from forests that meet the highest social and environmentally friendly standards. These forests are continuously inspected to ensure they adhere to FSC's strict principles.
Care Instructions
Karup's linen fabric is a blend of 25% linen and 75% cotton. Linen is a natural material that requires special care. Linen does not withstand water. If your linen-covered futon gets wet, stains may appear. Therefore, avoid cleaning with water. Use an uncoloured cloth to dab the wet area and dry it.
