Roots is a timeless sofa bed chair from Karup Design. With Roots, you not only get a sofa but also a single bed with a backrest that can be manually adjusted up and down. Roots transforms quickly and easily, making it perfect for those with limited space and for guests.

Roots comes with a futon mattress. The mattress is 12 cm high and filled with recycled fibers, with a 4 cm thick foam core. The upholstery is a textile blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The frame is made of solid brown lacquered pine.

About FSC
The sofa bed chair is FSC-certified, meaning that the furniture is made of wood sourced from forests that meet the highest social and environmental standards. These forests are continuously inspected to ensure they continue to adhere to FSC's strict principles.

Care Instructions
Karup's blended fabric is made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. As most of this fabric is made of natural raw material, be sure to use a sheet when sleeping on your product with blended fabric. Clean only with a dry cloth to avoid stains.
