Classic Collection Merino Round Wool Rug Oat Ø200

A thick and luxurious, hand-woven rug in natural wool with a round shape. A dirt-repellent wool rug that is reversible. The natural fats of the wool make the rug resistant to dirt and stains in an effective way. Any dirt settles on the surface and is best removed by vacuuming or airing.

The round rug has a smoother finish (See detailed image) compared to the rectangular version, as the rugs are woven in different ways.

Care Instructions:

• Regularly vacuum the rug without using a brush.
• Only have the rug professionally cleaned.
• To reduce wear on both the rug and the floor, consider using a rug underlay. These can be found among the optional accessories.
• Pills may form where the rug is subjected to heavy traffic, moving furniture, vacuuming with a brush attachment, or other strenuous handling. Vacuum your rug before removing pills, use a lint shaver or scissors. Be careful to only remove the fuzz and not damage the rug deeply. Finish by vacuuming the rug in the direction of the pile.

Please note that pilling is a normal behaviour for this type of rug and usually subsides over time. This is also a characteristic of all finer wool rugs. It is good to know that pilling/fluffing rugs is not a manufacturing defect but characteristic of this type of production technique and material. It also largely depends on the usage and maintenance.
