The Copenhagen Pot is one of Bergs Potter's most classic models with roots in the royal ceramics craftsmanship from the 19th century. The design is inspired by pots that were made for Fredensborg Palace in 1860, combining tradition with simple form and timeless elegance.
Steffen Berg developed the pot after finding old clay vessels in a disused greenhouse. His interpretation has become a signature for Bergs Potter and is still handmade today in small family workshops, where each pot is shaped in a spirit of tradition and quality.
The Copenhagen Pot is made of raw terracotta, a living natural material that allows the roots to breathe and promotes a healthy plant environment. The shape fits well in both modern and classic environments, allowing the plant to take centre stage.
The pot comes as a set of 3, perfect for smaller plants like herbs, succulents, or cuttings. The packaging doubles as an elegant gift box, making the set a thoughtful present – both practical and aesthetic for the plant enthusiast.
