The Copenhagen pot is one of Bergs Potter's earliest models, with its roots in royal Danish ceramics from the 19th century. The shape is inspired by pots that were made for Fredensborg Palace in 1860, carrying an expression of classic elegance and tradition.
Steffen Berg developed the design after discovering old clay pots in a disused greenhouse. The result was a personal interpretation of the historical craftsmanship, where function and aesthetics are combined. The pot is still handmade by skilled craftsmen in small family-owned workshops, where each piece acquires its own unique character.
The Copenhagen pot conveys a sense of timelessness and craftsmanship tradition, working equally well for green plants on a windowsill as in garden settings. A design that stands the test of time and deepens the connection between plant and vessel.
This model is delivered as a set with both pot and saucer, making them suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
