Indie Coffee Table from the Sleepo Collection features a generously sized round tabletop of 120cm resting on round globe legs that provide a modern and timeless look. The brown-stained surface highlights the natural grain of the oak veneer, giving the table a warm and inviting character.
Indie is characterized by its round silhouette and low height, making it perfect for a relaxed and cohesive seating area. The construction consists of a sturdy MDF frame covered in oak veneer – a material choice that creates an exclusive feel. Its clean lines and balanced proportions make the table suitable for both modern and classic settings.
The brown-stained oak veneer enhances the wood's lively structure with subtle colour variations and distinct grain patterns.
The protective lacquer contributes to a durable surface that is easy to keep clean and preserves the table's warm tone over time.
Care Instructions
Use a soft microfiber cloth, dry or lightly dampened. For light dirt, lukewarm water and a mild, pH-neutral detergent are sufficient.
Always dry the surface to avoid water stains and water penetration into the joints.
For more stubborn stains, a mild solution of lukewarm water and soap can be used.
Avoid strong chemicals such as ammonia, alcohol, acetone, bleach, or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the lacquered surface.
Maintenance
• Always use coasters for glasses, cups, vases, and hot items.
• Place furniture pads or felt pads under objects to prevent scratches.
• Avoid direct sunlight and placement near radiators or other heat sources.
• Maintain a stable room humidity (40–60%) to prevent cracking or swelling.
Lacquered surfaces do not need to be oiled. For extra shine, furniture polish designed for lacquered furniture can be used – preferably choose a polish without silicone or wax if you plan to re-lacquer the furniture in the future.
Minor scratches can sometimes be toned down with polish or gently polished away with a very fine, non-abrasive cloth.
Things to Avoid
• Never let damp items or wet cloths stand directly on the surface – risk of water rings.
• Do not use steel wool, abrasive sponges, or scouring pads.
• Avoid point loads from very heavy objects, especially on thinner parts of the furniture.
