Recommendation: Use a microfiber cloth or cotton glove when moving products around your home if you want to minimize the risk of fingerprints. This also applies when polishing your products.

Care instructions: Maintain your brass products with Hilke Collection's brass polish, Glanol Red, which is best used with a microfiber cloth. You can find the polish among the optional extras.

How to use the polish: Apply a small amount of the rich Glanol metal polish to the surface and work it in with a microfiber cloth or soft paper, then polish to a high gloss with a cloth. Dispose of the used paper in combustible waste. Now it's done and it will also be easier to maintain the item in the future.

If wax gets on the candlestick:
Boil water and set it aside. Dip the candlestick in the water until the wax melts (note, the candlestick will get hot - use gloves). Then wipe off excess wax with a clean cloth or paper towel. Once you have wiped off the candlestick so all the water is gone, polish the candlestick with Glanol. It may need to be repeated a few times with the polish.
