Hanging Lamp N°2 Wall Lamp Curry

Hanging Lamp is a characterful wall lamp from Valerie Objects, designed by the Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen. The idea was born when the designers lacked a ceiling outlet above the table in their older home and therefore created a lamp that could hang from the wall instead. The first prototypes were presented at the duo's debut exhibition at the Valerie Traan gallery in 2011.

The lamp's graphic, sculptural form is inspired by simple chalk lines that appear to have been drawn directly in the air. The slender line gives the room a stripped-down yet playful expression and is completed with a light source and a neutral lampshade. The inspiration for the original shade came from a find at a flea market.

Hanging Lamp is more than just a practical wall lamp – it is an expression of Muller Van Severen's way of combining art and function. With its airy silhouette, it adds personality and modern design to, for example, living rooms, dining areas, or bedrooms.
