The Cloudy rug is woven in wool and is available in several sizes and colours. The rug is fluffy, with a pile height of 3 cm, reminiscent of the traditional Greek Flokati. Here in a fantastic beige shade. The rug can feel slippery on the floor, rug underlays ensure that the rug stays securely on the floor and protects both the rug and the floor from wear. This rug sheds.

Care Instructions
Vacuum frequently and thoroughly:Â
- Vacuum the rug on both sides and the floor under the rug regularly. Never use the brush attachment when vacuuming and adjust the suction strength of your vacuum. Never vacuum the edge/selvedge or fringe of the rug as it may get damaged. Rugs with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile.
Rug underlays:Â
- The rug has an unlined back that may be slippery on the floor. Therefore, we recommend using rug underlays for anti-slip protection and to protect the floor.
Brushing the shaggy rug:Â
- Rugs with long pile need to be brushed regularly to maintain the fibre's appearance. Use a wide-toothed comb.
Shedding:Â
- Wool rugs shed, especially wool rugs with pile. This is completely normal and a characteristic of the fibre. Shedding may be most intense when the rug is brand new. However, there are no guarantees that shedding will decrease over time. Vacuum the rug regularly with the brush head retracted to remove excess fibres from production. We also recommend shaking the rug before use to fluff up the pile and remove excess wool.
Rotate the rug:Â
- Rotate the rug in the room regularly to expose it evenly to wear and tear.
Stains:Â
- Always remove minor stains immediately when they occur. Wet stains should be blotted with dry paper towels.
- Dry stains should be gently scraped from the fibre's surface, scraping from the edges of the stain towards the centre. Then, moisten a clean cloth or sponge with lukewarm water and mild soap or detergent. Lather the solution with lukewarm water before applying. Do not rub the stain as it may make it harder to remove. Blot up the liquid and repeat until the stain is gone.
- Do not use strong chemicals for treating stains at home. Tougher stains should be treated by a professional and preferably soon after the stain occurs to increase the chances of cleaning the fibre thoroughly.
Rug cleaning by a professional:Â
- Always take your rug to a reputable laundry for professional flat washing. Classic Collection rugs should not be machine or dry cleaned.
Additional Information:Â
- All new rugs have a distinct odour that will dissipate over time. The odour will dissipate faster if you air out or vacuum the rug.
