For tougher stains, you can use a solution of lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap. Strong chemicals should be avoided, such as products containing ammonia, alcohol, acetone, bleach, or abrasive agents, as these can dissolve or damage the lacquer surface.

Protection and Preventive Measures
To protect the furniture and preserve the surface, it is important to always use coasters for glass, copper, vases, and hot objects. Place furniture pads or felt pads under items placed on the furniture to prevent scratches. Avoid placing the furniture in direct sunlight as UV radiation can bleach the wood and dry out the lacquer. Keep the furniture away from radiators or other heat sources that may cause the lacquer to crack. Do not use scrubbing cloths, steel wool, or sponges with abrasive surfaces as these can scratch the lacquer. Also, avoid placing very heavy objects directly on thin parts of the furniture, as point loads can lead to cracks in the lacquer surface.
