For tougher stains, you can use a solution of lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap. Strong chemicals should be avoided, such as products containing ammonia, alcohol, acetone, bleach, or abrasives, as these can dissolve or damage the varnish surface.

Protection and preventive measures
To protect the furniture and preserve the surface, it is important to always use coasters for glass, copper, vases, and hot items. Do not use scouring pads, steel wool, or sponges with abrasive surfaces as these can scratch the varnish. Also, avoid placing very heavy items directly on thin parts of the furniture, as point loading can lead to cracks in the varnish surface.
