Northern Birdy Swing Wall Lamp Black/Black

The Birdy Swing Wall Lamp from Northern is part of the classic Birdy series, originally designed in 1952 by the Norwegian design icon Birger Dahl in a modernist style. The series consists of wall, table, and floor lamps and was produced for many years by the Norwegian electrical company Sønnico in Oslo. In 1954, the Birdy Table Lamp, then known as "s-30016," was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at the Milan Triennale for its functional and groundbreaking design.

In 2013, Northern relaunched this design classic with respect for the original lines and features. The Birdy Swing is an evolution in wall lamp format that preserves the characteristic silhouette while offering increased mobility and functionality. The swivelling arm allows for flexible light direction, making the lamp ideal for reading corners, workspaces, or as a bedside lamp.

The Birdy Swing Wall Lamp comes with a 200 cm long cable with an integrated power switch. It uses an E27 socket and is compatible with LED light sources up to 11 W. A durable, timeless, and functional wall lamp in classic Nordic design for modern interiors.
