About teak:

Teak is a durable material that, without treatment, ages to a beautiful silver-grey colour. However, if you want to maintain the original golden-brown colour of teak, you need to regularly sand the surface and oil it with teak oil. The teak is FLEGT certified, meaning it comes from approved teak plantations and complies with the European Timber Regulation.

Good to know:

• If the mat is placed on a floor that can absorb oil from the teak, we recommend washing the mat 2 - 3 times with a mild mixture of water and soap/paint cleaner/dish soap before using the product.
• We do not recommend leaving the mat wet after use. Instead, place the mat upright and let it dry on a non-porous surface.
• Wipe the floor where the mat has been placed.
