Care Instructions

Vacuum frequently and thoroughly
Loose fibres and fluff may occur during washing and use. Vacuum the mat on both sides and the floor beneath regularly. Never use the extended brush when vacuuming and adjust the suction strength of your vacuum cleaner. Never vacuum the edge/binding or fringe of the mat as it may cause damage. Mats with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile.

Stains
Always remove simpler stains immediately when they occur. Wet stains should be absorbed with dry household paper.

Dry stains should be gently scraped off from the edge of the stain towards the centre. Then, apply lukewarm water on an uncoloured cloth or sponge. Moisten the stain with a damp uncoloured cloth and gall soap or mild uncoloured soap. Foam up the solution with lukewarm water before applying. Do not rub on the stain as it may make it harder to remove. Then, absorb the liquid and repeat until the stain is gone.

Do not use strong chemicals when treating stains at home. Tougher stains should be treated by a professional and preferably soon after the stain occurs as it increases the chances of cleaning the fibre thoroughly.

Machine Wash
Loose fibres and fluff may occur during washing and use. Make sure to empty the lint filter of the washing machine before the first wash of the mat as it sheds extra fibres. The mat is preferably washed the first time in a laundry bag as it releases extra fibres during the first wash.

Additional Information
All new mats have a distinct odour that will dissipate over time. The odour dissipates faster if you air out or vacuum the mat.
