CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR WHITE-OILED & OILED OAK
Care instructions
To preserve the beautiful surface of your furniture and extend its lifespan, we recommend the following care:
Oiling
We recommend treating the furniture with wood oil before first use. This protects the surface and helps preserve the natural properties of the wood. After that, the furniture should be oiled regularly, approximately 2–4 times per year depending on use and wear. When the surface starts to feel dry or look dull, it is a sign that it is time to apply oil again.
Extra protection with spray wax
To increase the furniture’s resistance, you can use Spray Wax. The spray wax creates an additional protective layer that helps prevent liquids and dirt from penetrating the wood surface. This gives you more time to wipe up spills before they soak in, but it does not make the furniture completely resistant to liquids.
Protect the surface
Decorative objects such as candle holders, vases and similar items should always be placed on coasters or protective mats to avoid moisture or heat marks.
Removing stains
If stains occur, you can carefully sand the surface using fine sandpaper. We recommend P180 grit. After sanding, the surface should be treated with oil again. Finish with Spray Wax for additional protection.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BROWN-STAINED & BLACK-STAINED OAK
Care instructions
To preserve the beautiful surface of your furniture and extend its lifespan, we recommend the following care:
Daily cleaning
Wipe the furniture with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Use only water or a mild soap solution when needed. Avoid strong cleaning agents or abrasive products that may damage the surface.
Always wipe dry
Prevent moisture damage by always wiping the surface with a clean, dry cloth after cleaning.
Polishing & maintenance
Use a furniture polish suitable for wood or veneer to care for the surface and preserve its beautiful finish. Apply the polish evenly across the furniture and immediately wipe away any excess with a soft cloth for an even, protective result.
Protect the surface
Decorative objects such as candle holders, vases and similar items should always be placed on coasters or protective mats to avoid moisture or heat marks.
Placement & environment
Place the furniture on a level surface and avoid direct sunlight, intense heat or high humidity, as these can affect the structure and surface of the wood over time.
