Bauer Dining Table Black Stained Oak 250+50

The Bauer Dining Table in Black Stained is an elegant and extendable table with pedestal legs in a crescent moon shape that creates an open and balanced feel in the room. The table has a top surface in durable oak veneer and the legs are panel-covered in the same material for a unified look. The frame is made of stable MDF, and the surface has a black stained, matt lacquered finish that enhances the wood's structure and suits many homes. The veneer runs across the width of the tabletop, creating a refined expression while allowing the beautiful grain pattern of the wood to emerge naturally.

The table can easily be extended with the included extension leaf, providing a total length of 300 cm. The extension leaf is securely locked in place with stable metal hooks to ensure it stays securely in place and creates a smooth table surface. When not in use, the extension leaf is stored separately from the table.

Care Instructions

Cleaning

• Use a soft, lightly dampened cloth to wipe the table. Avoid strong cleaning agents or abrasive cloths that may damage the lacquered surface.
• Always wipe dry with a dry and soft cloth to avoid water stains or marks.

Maintenance

• For black lacquered surfaces, wood oil is typically not used; the focus is on protecting the lacquer.
• Use furniture polish or wax suitable for lacquered surfaces if you want to provide extra shine and protection, but always remember to wipe off excess to avoid streaks.
• Avoid cleaning products containing ammonia or solvents as these can damage the lacquer.

Protection during Use

• Always use coasters for hot items, glasses, and plates to avoid heat damage, condensation rings, or scratches.
• Candle holders, vases, and other items should always be placed on coasters to protect the surface.
• Be cautious with hard or sharp objects that may scratch the lacquered surface.

Other Considerations

• Direct sunlight can affect the colour of the lacquer over time or cause fading. Place the table where it is not exposed to strong sunlight all day.
• Avoid dragging heavy items across the table to reduce the risk of scratches.
