Square is a handwoven hallway rug with a classic checkered pattern in forest green and natural colours. The timeless design combines graphic simplicity with warm, earthy colouring – a stylish choice that fits equally well in modern homes as well as traditional settings. Thanks to the durable wool, the rug is particularly suitable for high-traffic areas, such as hallways and kitchens.

Square is handwoven in wool with a cotton warp. It has a flatweave structure with a thickness of 0.7 cm. The rug is reversible and easy to place in different rooms. As each piece is handmade, a size variation of ±5% may occur.

Regularly vacuum the rug – on both sides and underneath – without a brush and with reduced suction power. Rugs with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile. Rotate the rug occasionally for even wear. Use furniture pads under heavy furniture and avoid direct sunlight to preserve the colour. Gently comb long pile with a wide-toothed comb to keep it looking nice. Wool may shed initially – this is normal and will diminish over time.

Blot up spills immediately with paper towels. Gently scrape off dry stains from the outer edges inwards. Use lukewarm water and mild soap or detergent – dab instead of rubbing. For tough stains, consult a professional cleaner. Wool rugs should not be machine- or dry-cleaned, and rugs with viscose or Tencel should always be handled by a professional.
