Primary Shape 03 Wall Lamp Dark Red 18cm

This wall lamp from Serax is designed by the architect Thijs Prinsen from LENS°ASS ARCHITECTS. The inspiration comes from his fascination with brick and from a renovation project where large amounts of old bricks were reused. The simple rectangular shape of the brick became the starting point for a series of distinctive wall lamps.

For the collection, Prinsen chose to work with coloured concrete in two shades as well as terracotta. The robust character of the materials meets a stripped-down design language that gives the lamp a clear architectural feel.

The cone and cylinder shapes are further variations within the series and have been created with a focus on atmospheric lighting. The light beautifully spreads over both walls and floors, creating a decorative lighting effect that enhances the room's atmosphere.
