The plate is made of exclusive bone china porcelain with a shiny, glazed finish. It is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and food approved. The plate is not oven safe.

About Porcelain & Care Instructions
Porcelain is a high-quality and refined material that is very resistant to scratches. Since Serax's products are often handmade, there may be slight colour and glaze variations. According to Serax, these contribute to the unique character and beauty of the item.

Serax's porcelain can be cleaned in the dishwasher. They recommend using regular dishwasher tablets (not 3-in-1 tablets) and a temperature of up to 65°C. Descaling agents (such as regeneration salt) and high temperatures can damage the glaze. To avoid minor vibrations and collisions that can lead to major damage, do not place the porcelain too close together in the dishwasher. They also recommend keeping porcelain and metal items (such as pots and cutlery) separated in the machine. Contact with metal can cause dark scratches on the porcelain.

For the maintenance of decorative porcelain items, Serax recommends dusting them off with a damp cloth.
