Paloma Table Lamp Red/Beige 52cm

Paloma is an atmospheric table lamp by Marie Michielssen for Serax, where classic lighting design meets sculptural details. The characteristic ceramic base is adorned with a handmade dove – a symbol of peace and prosperity that also brings to mind Picasso's well-known sketches.

The lamp's name is a reference to Picasso's daughter Paloma, whose name means dove in Spanish. The colour palette is based on three tones that Marie Michielssen uses in her ceramics: deep almost black-brown, warm red, and natural clay with a colourless glaze.

A neutral linen lampshade creates a balance against the expressive base and gives the lamp a timeless look. The twisted textile-covered cord in black or white acts as a thoughtful detail that completes the whole.
