Ostrea 25 from Hein Studio is a sculptural brass vase inspired by the shapes of the sea.

Ostrea 25 is a hand-cast vase in solid brass, created to combine the raw beauty of nature with functional design. Part of the Ostrea collection, where inspiration is drawn from the organic shapes of the sea – rock formations, oyster shells, and reflections of light on the water. With its soft, asymmetrical lines, the bowl functions both as a decorative interior detail and a practical container.

Each piece is made through sand casting, a traditional technique that gives the object its unique structure. Small black marks and grains may occur as a natural part of the process, contributing to each bowl's unique character. After casting, the surface is hand-polished to enhance the natural shine of the brass.

Brass is a living material that develops a beautiful patina over time through oxidation. This gives the bowl a deeper tone and a timeless character. To preserve its original shine, it can be polished as needed.

Ostrea 25 can be used with or without flowers and is perfect as an exclusive detail on tables, shelves, or side tables.
