The Ninotchka pendant by LYFA is an iconic luminaire designed by Bent Karlby in 1954. The inspiration for the lamp's expressive silhouette comes from a hat worn by Greta Garbo in the classic film Ninotchka. The asymmetrical shade in lacquered metal has organic folds that create a direct downward light while also allowing a soft, atmospheric light to shine upwards.
The sculptural shape makes Ninotchka both a focal point and a functional light source. The lamp is perfect above a dining table, in a hallway, or as pendant lighting in a living room.
