Care instructions: Take care of your furniture and enjoy it for several years. Rattan is a very strong natural material that becomes more brittle over time and may crack and break. The weaving is a traditional craftsmanship method that creates beautiful patterns. To maintain the flexibility of the rattan, it is good to moisten the material at least 1-2 times per month, preferably more times with a mild soap solution - use about 2 tablespoons of soap flakes to 1 litre of lukewarm water, which can then be sprayed on the underside of the material. Wipe away excess water that is not absorbed and avoid spraying on surrounding materials. Since rattan is a living material containing fibre threads, you can easily trim any splinters that may otherwise get caught in clothing. The rattan may also vary slightly in colour from one piece of furniture to another.
