Inspired by Asia and the traditional rice lamp, the ceiling lamp Kyoto was created, a rice lamp with a modern expression. Designer Mikael wanted to create a modern version of the rice lamp and found the beautiful shape in a spinning toy from childhood, the perfect combination of form and material. The thin white rice paper creates a pleasant light and at the bottom hangs a decorative black metal rod with a bit of weight. Kyoto comes with a 120 cm long black cable and a black plastic ceiling cup.
