The Copenhagen pot is a design with historical roots and was one of the very first models created by Bergs Potter. The shape is based on traditional ceramics developed for the Danish royal palace Fredensborg in 1860, embodying an expression of timeless simplicity and craftsmanship.
The inspiration for the pot came when Steffen Berg found old clay pots in a former greenhouse. Based on these, he created his own interpretation – a tribute to the royal heritage and the long tradition of ceramics. Today, the Copenhagen pot is still handcrafted in small family workshops where the solid craftsmanship lives on.
The range includes several sizes in beautiful shades. There are also tall models specially designed for roses, with plenty of space for deep roots, as well as wide and low pots suitable for growing herbs, succulents, and bulbous plants in decorative arrangements.
This model is delivered as a set with both pot and saucer, making them well suited for use both indoors and outdoors.
