Recommendation: Use a microfibre cloth or cotton glove when moving products around your home if you want to minimize the risk of fingerprints. This also applies when polishing your products.

Care instructions: Maintain your nickel-plated brass products with Hilke Collection's brass polish, Glanol Blå, which is best used together with a microfibre cloth. You can find the polish among the optional extras.

How to use the polish: Apply a small amount of the concentrated Glanol metal polish on the surface and work it with a microfibre cloth or soft paper, then polish to a high gloss with a cloth. Dispose of the used paper in combustible waste. Now it's done, and it will also be easier to maintain the item in the future.

If you get wax on the candlestick:
Boil water and set aside. Dip the candlestick in the water until the wax melts (note, the candlestick will get hot - use gloves). Then wipe off excess wax with a clean cloth or paper towel. Once you have wiped the candlestick until all water is gone, polish it with Glanol. You may need to repeat a few times with the polish.
