Heart Side Table Matte Lacquer Oak

The Heart Side Table was designed in the late 1950s by Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. The table reflects the designer's strong roots in both Scandinavian minimalism and traditional craftsmanship, with a design that is simple in its structure yet rich in expression.

The side table has a distinct personality and bears clear features of Jørgensen's design DNA. The most distinctive detail is found in the tabletop, where the traditional craftsmanship technique of intarsia is used to create an artistic pattern directly on the wood surface. Intarsia gives each table a unique identity and enhances the connection between functional furniture and artistic object.

The Heart Table is an example of sustainable wooden side tables where carefully selected materials and craftsmanship precision come together. The table works equally well as a side table in the living room, a bedside table in the bedroom, or as a decorative detail in the hallway. With its combination of aesthetics, history, and form, it is a timeless addition to interiors where small Scandinavian-style side tables can stand out with integrity and stylish presence.
