Shepherd Ellen. An unlined chair cushion made of soft short-haired sheepskin originating from Australia. All sheepskins are natural, therefore variations in their natural structure may occur. The underside is made of natural leather.

Care instructions

For light dirt:
Vacuum or use a lint roller. Shake and air sheepskin regularly to maintain its shine and shape. On damp days, airing is recommended as moisture helps keep the sheepskin supple and prevents it from becoming brittle. Do not expose the sheepskin to high temperatures or direct sunlight.

For heavier dirt:
Sheepskin with a wool length of up to 35 mm can be washed in the washing machine. Sheepskin with full length and the natural skin Visby should not be washed in the washing machine. Use a mild detergent (wool shampoo) with a pH value of 3.5 - 5.5, free from enzymes, phosphates, peroxides, alkalines, and bleaches. For heavier dirt on the skin, soak it in cold water before washing. Wash in the washing machine and select wool program/30 degrees. Always use plenty of water. It is okay to use centrifugation but avoid using a tumble dryer, and absolutely no heat tumble drying. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Sheepskin should be hung up or dried flat at room temperature. Work (pull and rub) the skin while it is still damp to keep it supple. Do not iron. Sheepskin can also be dry cleaned by a specialist. Do not expose the sheepskin to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
