Papier-mâché bowl in off-white. A characteristic bowl on a pedestal that combines volume and texture. This bowl is an example of a design where the raw material dictates the shaping. Designed by Marie Michielssen for Serax.
The bowl is made of papier-mâché with a raw, lively finish.
About Papier Mâché & Care Instructions
Papier-mâché is a natural material made of paper pulp and glue. It is surprisingly versatile and strong. Although Serax treats the material with a protective coating, papier-mâché is still sensitive to water. NOTE! Do not pour liquid directly into a papier-mâché vase. Dry branches are fine, but if you want to use fresh flowers, you should place a waterproof container inside the vase.
We recommend dusting papier-mâché regularly with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid excess moisture, as this can damage the material.
