Earth 02 Table Lamp White 44cm

Earth Table Lamp is part of Marie Michielssen's series of papier-mâché objects for Serax. Since 2018, she has been working with the material and exploring its great potential for sculptural design. The Earth series has been particularly appreciated for how the tactile material gives functional objects an immediate and artistic character.

In the Earth Table Lamp, function and sculpture meet in a design where the structure of papier-mâché is clearly visible. The material's expression makes the lamp a decorative object even when not used as a light source, giving each environment a more personal feel.

The model fits nicely on a bedside table, for example. The bowl-shaped base is not only decorative but can also be used to store small items, such as rings or a clock, overnight. A thoughtful detail that combines practical function with the characteristic design language of the Earth series.
