The Cloudy Rug is woven in wool and available in several sizes and colours. The rug is fluffy, with a pile height of 3 cm, reminiscent of the traditional Greek Flokati rugs. Here in a beautiful natural white tone. The rug may feel slippery on the floor, a rug underlay will keep the rug securely in place on the floor, protecting both the rug and the floor from wear. This rug sheds.

Care Instructions
Vacuum regularly and thoroughly:Â
- Vacuum the rug on both sides and the floor underneath regularly. Never use the brush attachment when vacuuming and adjust the vacuum strength. Avoid vacuuming the rug's edges or fringes as they may get damaged. Rugs with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile.
Rug underlay:Â
- The rug has an unlined back that may be slippery on the floor. We recommend using rug underlay for grip and floor protection.
Brush the shaggy rug:Â
- Rugs with long pile need to be brushed regularly to maintain the fibre's appearance. Use a wide-toothed comb.
Shedding:Â
- Wool rugs shed, especially those with pile. This is normal and a characteristic of the fibre. Shedding may be more noticeable when the rug is new. However, there are no guarantees that shedding will decrease over time. Vacuum the rug regularly with the brush head retracted to remove excess fibres from production. We also recommend shaking the rug before use to fluff up the pile and remove excess wool.
Rotate the rug:Â
- Rotate the rug in the room regularly to expose it evenly to wear.
Stains:Â
- Always remove minor stains promptly. Blot wet stains with dry paper towels.
- For dry stains, gently scrape from the edges towards the centre. Then, moisten a clean cloth or sponge with lukewarm water and mild soap. Foam the solution with lukewarm water before applying. Avoid rubbing the stain as it may make it harder to remove. Blot the liquid and repeat until the stain is gone.
- Avoid using strong chemicals for home stain treatment. Tough stains should be handled by a professional, preferably soon after they occur to increase the chances of fibre restoration.
Rug cleaning by professionals:Â
- Always take your rug to a reputable laundry for professional flat washing. Classic Collection rugs should not be machine or dry cleaned.
Additional information:Â
- All new rugs have a distinct odour that dissipates over time. Ventilating or vacuuming the rug will help the odour disappear faster.
