Inspired by mid-20th century brutalist architecture, the Brutus collection consists of a dining chair, a lounge chair, a coffee table, and this stool, all cast in lightweight fibre concrete. Drawing from traditional Japanese wooden stools, the seat features a gentle curve, and the distinctive crossed legs make it perfect as extra seating around the table. Each piece is hand-painted to achieve a textured and unique surface. The collection highlights the delicate balance between sharp architectural lines and softer curves in the seat, making Brutus a sculptural statement with appealing seating comfort.
