Northern Birdy Swing Table Lamp Black/Black

The Birdy Swing Table Lamp from Northern is a pendant lamp with roots in the 1950s Nordic modernism, designed by the influential designer Birger Dahl. After a close collaboration with Dahl's successor, Northern has now, for the first time, realised an original sketch that has never been produced before. The result is a luminaire that continues Dahl's clear design language with strong geometric shapes and softly rounded contours.

The Birdy Swing Lamp reflects the expressive design language of the classic long-armed wall lamp in the Birdy series, but in a new pendant-based interpretation. The lamp combines timeless aesthetics with technical precision and offers a smoothly rotating axis thanks to its robust steel body and shade in lightweight aluminium.

The Birdy Swing Lamp is available in three finishes – black, brass, or steel – and is equally suitable for home environments as well as in professional settings where distinctive lighting is desired. The lamp comes with a 200 cm long black cable, an on/off switch located on the shade, and an E27 socket, compatible with LED light sources up to 11 W.
