Birdy Floor Lamp Dark Green/Brass

The Birdy floor lamp by Northern is an iconic design with roots in the modernist style of the 1950s. It is part of the Birdy series, created in 1952 and manufactured and sold for many years by the Norwegian company Sønnico in Oslo. The series gained international recognition when the table lamp, then known as the S-30016, was awarded the Gold Medal at the Milan Triennale in 1954. In 2013, Northern reintroduced this much-loved design classic, staying true to the original’s form and function.

This elegant floor lamp in green and gold pairs timeless design with a look that suits a wide range of interiors. Place Birdy beside a sofa or armchair to create an elegant, practical lighting feature in your living room. The floor lamp is available in several colour combinations, including grey-beige and dark green with brass details. A thoughtfully designed lamp that brings together Norwegian design heritage and modern Scandinavian interiors.
