The down is a by-product of the food industry and is sourced from certified suppliers in France, Germany, and Poland. Muscovy duck is particularly valued for its low weight, high insulation capacity, and long-lasting elasticity.

The duvet is encased in a tightly woven fabric made of 100% organic cotton. It uses a cambric yarn – a fine, combed cotton yarn that provides both strength and sheen while preventing the down from escaping. The dense weave is airy enough to ensure good ventilation.

The Aurora series is produced as a fresh product at Norskt Dun's own factory in Mysen, Norway, with a strong focus on quality, environment, and sustainable production. Only class 1 down is used, which means very low tolerance for dust, fibers, and other impurities. The fill power is 720 CUIN, meaning the down is very resilient and efficiently traps air – qualities that create a warm yet well-ventilated sleeping climate.
