The duvet is filled with 90% new, white Muscovy down and 10% small feathers – a filling that combines lightness with good insulation and natural moisture transport. The down is a by-product from food production and comes from reliable suppliers in France, Germany, and Poland. Muscovy duck is particularly appreciated for its low weight and high quality.

The Aurora series is manufactured at Norskt Dun's own factory in Mysen, Norway. Duvets and pillows are produced as fresh goods in small batches with a focus on the environment, ethics, and quality. Only class 1 down is used, which means an extremely low presence of dust, fibres, and impurities – a safe choice even for users with allergies. The series is approved by the Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association.

The casing consists of 100% organic cotton in cambric weave, a tightly woven combed cotton yarn that prevents the down from creeping out while offering good ventilation. The fill power is 720 CUIN, guaranteeing high resilience and good air-binding capacity – for long-lasting comfort and natural temperature regulation.
