Shepherd Alice. A decorative cushion made of soft, short-haired sheepskin from Australia. Hidden zipper. Care instructionsFor light soiling:
Vacuum or use a lint roller. Regularly shake and air the sheepskin for best lustre and shape. On humid days, moisture is recommended as it helps keep the sheepskin supple and prevents it from becoming brittle. Do not expose the sheepskin to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
For heavier soiling:
Sheepskin with a wool length of up to 35 mm can be washed in a washing machine. Sheepskin with full length and the natural skin Visby should not be washed in a washing machine. Use a mild detergent (wool shampoo) with a pH value of 3.5 - 5.5, free from enzymes, phosphates, peroxides, alkalines, and bleaches. For heavier dirt on the skin, it should be soaked in cold water before washing. Wash in the washing machine and select wool program/30 degrees. Always use plenty of water. It is okay to use the spin cycle, but avoid using the dryer, and absolutely no heat drying. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. The sheepskin should be hung up or dried flat at room temperature. Work (pull and rub) the skin while it is still damp to keep it supple. Do not iron. Sheepskin can also be dry-cleaned by a specialist. Do not expose the sheepskin to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
