Care Instructions Vacuum frequently and thoroughly: - Vacuum the rug on both sides and the floor underneath regularly. Never use the brush attachment when vacuuming, and adjust the vacuum's strength. Avoid vacuuming the rug's edge or fringe as it may cause damage. Rugs with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile. Rug underlay: - The rug has an unlined backing that may be slippery on the floor. We recommend using rug underlay for anti-slip protection and to protect the floor. Brushing the shaggy rug: - Rugs with long pile need to be brushed regularly to maintain the fibre's appearance. Use a wide-toothed comb. Shedding: - Wool rugs shed, especially those with pile. This is normal and a characteristic of the fibre. Shedding may be most intense when the rug is new. However, there are no guarantees that shedding will decrease over time. Vacuum the rug regularly with a brush head to remove excess fibres from production. We also recommend shaking the rug before use to fluff up the pile and remove excess wool. Tough stains should be treated by a professional, preferably soon after the stain occurs to increase the chances of cleaning the fibre.
