In the production of the daybed, Fatboy has used as many recycled materials as possible. The base consists of recycled plastic with a black finish - a stylish contrast to the cushions. The back cushions are filled with leftover foam and the UV-resistant and water-resistant cushions are sewn in durable olefin fabric while the backrests are surface-treated with high-quality powder coating and stainless steel. The cushion covers have a polyurethane coating on the inside of the fabric and a water and dirt repellent coating on the outside. They are also UV-resistant with a high UV rating, melt-resistant, and the covers are machine washable.
